"I watch tennis because é there'è him. I would say that è it was a nice surprise. I find this guy to be okay in all respects. I am glad that someone like Sinner has his sights set on the Olympics. It would be good for everyone should he do well. I think it will be a different experience even for Sinner himself".
You have participated in several Olympics. Any advice to Jannik Sinner?
"If I can give him some advice, although I really think he doesn't need it, I would urge him to be very careful, not to underestimate anybody. The Olympics are different from everything, it takes maximum concentration but, again, I don’t think he needs advice".
What kind of Olympics do you expect, especially in terms of the Azzurri?”
" I believe that the Azzurri, male and female, will give us great satisfaction. The goal è to repeat what was done well in Tokyo and it seems to me that all the conditions are in place to succeed. There are many valuable blue athletes. Then, I know perfectly well, it isn't easy at the Olympics. There'è a lot of pressure, you know they come every four years but I trust that great results" can come.
