Como will be ableà to play at the Bentegodi in Verona

In a press note, the City of Verona announced that it has granted the request of the Como 1907 club and the Larian municipal administration to be able to include the “Marcantonio Bentegodi” stadium as a facility to be used for home matches in the 2024/2025 Serie A championship.

The “Giuseppe Sinigaglia” stadium is, at present, being upgraded to meet the infrastructure criteria required by Serie A. Work is planned during the ’summer and the’assumption of duration of construction è until the first week of September.

It was therefore necessary to provide an alternative venue, which the Verona municipal administration, after obtaining the Prefect’s clearance and in agreement with Hellas Verona, the concession holder of the Bentegodi stadium, deliberated today, May 31, at the Giunta.

The ’hypothesis è that Como 1907 will play its first matches away from home, to allow for the completion of the works. Should these not be completed on schedule, the Verona stadium will be made available until the stadium’Sinigaglia is adapted.
