And'came Valentino Rossi's first reaction to Marc Marquez's landing in the official Ducati team. The former MotoGp centaur admitted his surprise but made it clear that he has great confidence in Pecco Bagnaia’s abilities: "Marc’s arrival è was a surprise for everyone: for me, for Pecco, but especially for Jorge Martin. It’ll definitely be a difficult challenge for Pecco, because he’ll have an uncomfortable teammate, but I think he’ll have all the cards to stand up to him".
According to the rider number 46, Bagnaia è absolutely able to handle the'eight-time world champion: "From the journalistic point of view, I know that è an interesting topic, but Pecco did not need to have Marquez in his team to prove that he is the strongest".
"He has won 3 world championships, including 2 consecutive in MotoGP with Ducati. He does not need to prove that he is the strongest in his team", were the words spoken to the media and reported by Motosan on the sidelines of the 24 Hours of Spa.
