Aleix Espargaró renounces the Gp of Germany

Aleix Espargaró raises the white flag and renounces the German Gp: the Aprilia driver's decision came shortly after the start of Friday's first timed session. Too strong pain in his right hand, injured in the last lap of the Sprint Race of the Grand Prix of Holland: the Catalan did everything to run at the Sachsenring, but after a few minutes preferred not to take further risks.

"Before coming here I was in a lot of pain but I decided to be here at the very last moment,” Espargaró told the official MotoGp channels.

The doctors had told me that I would not make it to race because of the injury to my right hand, which è the one I use to accelerate, but I did not want to stay at home and so I came here, trying to do my best":

This year's was not an easy season for Aleix Espargaró: brilliant in his home Gp, in Catalonia, where he won the Sprint Race and came close to the podium in the Sunday race closed in fourth place, the Aprilia rider è arrived only one other time among the top three, in the inaugural Sprint Race in Qatar.
