Napoli, revolution in defense: three changes in sight for Antonio Conte
The back ward could present extremely significant novelties.
Calciomercato Napoli: Antonio Conte is preparing to set a very different team than the one entrusted to Rudi Garcia and then to Walter Mazzarri and Francesco Calzona during the last season. Particularly in defense, there should be several new faces at the disposal of the new Azzurri coach, with two arrivals getting closer and one important departure that might not be averted.
According to what has been gathered by 'Sky Sport', in fact, the arrival of Alessandro Buongiorno seems now defined once and for all. Decisive was a further meeting that took place between Beppe Riso, agent of the defender currently at Torino, and the Azzurri’s sporting director Giovanni Manna. There is talk of a 35 million euro deal, plus 5 million in bonuses. Napoli should finalize only the last details before medical examinations and signatures.
Same rigmarole that is still missing for Leonardo Spinazzola, now released from Roma and who has said sì to Napoli. It should all materialize by Monday, with a 3 million-a-year contract until 2026 already ready for the left-sided flanker who will graduate as European champion in 2021 with Roberto Mancini’s Italy.
For two incoming Italians, Napoli could still lose one. And it would not be a small name: in fact, agent Mario Giuffredi announced the cancellation of a press conference previously scheduled for Tuesday. And this could be a hint that the situation of Giovanni Di Lorenzo still has not è been resolved.
