From Jannik Sinner a special message after Wimbledon knockout

Through a post on his Instagram profile, Jannik Sinner wanted to thank the many fans who supported him at Wimbledon: "Thank you so much for the amazing support here in the UK and at Wimbledon for this great tournament. It è one of the most important moments of the year. Yesterday did not è go as I hoped, congratulations to Daniil for a great match. See you next year!".

.

Sinner è was eliminated on Tuesday afternoon by Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Decisive was the malaise that the blue player experienced in the third set: Sinner asked for a medical-break that è lasted a full 12 minutes due to severe dizziness. Once back on court he tried to continue but the physical condition was too precarious and Medvedev got the better of him.

"The physiotherapist told me it was better if I took some time: he saw my face, I did not look in condition to play. It è was not an easy time, I tried to fight with what I had. I was definitely not well. I didn’t throw up, but I was pretty dizzy. Those minutes off the field were the worst to tell the truth. When I got back on the court I tried to give my best. I regret not winning the third set, I had a couple of chances and couldn&#39t take advantage of them. In the fourth I raised my level a little bit, then in the fifth a bad serve decided the match" he said after the match.
