Brazilian sirens for Mario Balotelli
Corinthians wants to convince Mario Balotelli
Mario Balotelli could be experiencing his next stage as a professional footballer in Brazil: è this is reported by the Brazilian news outlet 'Universo Online', according to which Corinthians president himself, Augusto Melo, took part in a video conference with the 1990-born footballer himself, who showed himself "cordial, friendly, smiling and enthusiastic about getting to know the'Corinthians universe".
It is not the first time that SuperMario has been approached by a club in the Brazilian league: in 2019 it was Flamengo that was strongly interested in Balotelli, but the negotiations stalled and the player decided to settle at Brescia, thus returning to Serie A after a brief spell at Olympique Marseille.
Corinthians would acquire Balotelli at no cost, the striker having been released since last July 1, the day after the expiration of the contract he had formed with Adana Demirspor, a Turkish club with which, in the 2023/2024 season, he played 16 matches, scoring 7 times.
For 'UOL' the negotiation è at a very advanced stage and even there would be extremes to conclude it next week. It would be the seventh foreign club to put the former Inter, Milan, Brescia and Monza player under contract: Balotelli has in fact played in England for Manchester City and Liverpool, in France for Nice and Olympique Marseille, in Switzerland for Sion and in Turkey for Adana Demirspor.
