Cagliari, there is the yes of Eldor Shomurodov

Cagliari, after making Jakub Jankto’s arrival official, is working to strengthen the offensive phase ahead of the upcoming Serie A season. The Rossoblù management is reportedly following several profiles to satisfy the demands of coach Claudio Ranieri.

According to reports from the “Corriere dello Sport,” the islanders have reached an agreement with Roma’s Eldor Shomurodov on the basis of a loan with right of redemption. The parties, in fact, would be continuing contacts to finalize the last details to get to the final white smoke.

In addition to the 1995-born Uzbek striker, Cagliari would be in talks for the purchases of Jose Luis Palomino from Atalanta and Matteo Prati from SPAL. More complicated, on the other hand, would be the track leading to Borja Mayoral from Getafe, with whom contacts would not yet have been initiated.

As of next July 1, it will be possible to deposit contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
