Tour de France: Tadej Pogacar also takes 14th stage and consolidates yellow jersey

The fourteenth stage of the Tour de France 2024 closes in the sign of Tadej Pogacar. The Slovenian cyclist, in fact, è imposed himself in the 152 km from Pau to Saint-Lary-Soulan Pla d'Adet thanks to an excellent sprint in the final part characterized by the long climb to the finish line.

In second place is Denmark’s Jonas Vingegaard, who accumulates a delay of 39 seconds from the leader. On the lowest step of the podium Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step). Good fifth place for Italian Giulio Ciccone.

Thanks to the success in the fourteenth stage, Tadej Pogacar consolidates the yellow jersey and confirms himself as the leader of the general classification, significantly extending his lead over his pursuers.

The 111th edition of the Grande Boucle continues on Sunday with the fifteenth stage, which goes from Lourdenvielle to Plateau de Beille, 197.7 km long and with a long, very tough uphill finish.
