Lazio, Giovanni Simeone for after Ciro Immobile
The Argentine striker is likely to have little space with Conte
Napoli is negotiating the sale of Osimhen (PSG) to bring home Lukaku, i.e., the center forward Conte has wanted since his first day as coach of the Azzurri club. Simeone risks, therefore, not having as much space (there'è competition in attack). Hence the concrete possibility that he could pack his bags and go to play elsewhere.
In particular, watch out for Lazio. As known, Immobile has said goodbye to the biancoceleste club to start a new adventure in Turkey with the Besiktas jersey. Besides Castellanos, new coach Baroni does not have great alternatives in attack. Someone like Simeone, a deep connoisseur of Italian soccer, could come in very handy.
Napoli appears to be giving a valuation of Cholito’s player’s card around 15 million euros. A figure that patron Lotito could also support. Having Simeone in the squad would also be singular. After his father, protagonist of the 2000 Scudetto, now it would be the turn of his son, winner of the Scudetto with the Napoli jersey.
Simeone, at Napoli, earns about 1.7 million euros per season. A salary that Lazio could guarantee him without major problems, perhaps with a small upward adjustment, perhaps linked to the achievement of certain bonuses. Now it all depends on Lotito and his ability to negotiate. De Laurentiis could also decide to please the Lazio patron.
