Team USA, victory signed by LeBron James against Germany
Usa-Germany 92-88
Fifth win out of five pre-Olympic friendlies for Team USA, which also beat world champions Germany but not without breaking a sweat. In London, in front of 19,177 spectators at the O2 arena (a record for a basketball game in England), LeBron James signed the comeback for the 92-88 final.
The Los Angeles Lakers star scored the last 11 points of his own, also giving his all on defense. In the end, the haul was 20 points for an almost 40-year-old who was also chosen as the flag bearer for the United States for the opening ceremony.
Steve Kerr commented as follows: “We have a great group. It doesn’t matter if it’s me, Joel, Steph, KD when he comes back … Everybody can have their moment, and è that’s what really matters. We are all rooting for each other, no matter how the game goes we know that there’è someone who canò make a difference".
