Stephane Gombauld coveted by two A clubs
Coming off a season that ended on a crescendo with the Dinamo Sassari robe, Stephane Gombauld is considering different options for the continuation of his career and does not rule out staying in the Italian league. According to reports from 'La Prealpina' in fact, Pallacanestro Reggiana and Vanoli Cremona have expressed interest in the Frenchman.
The two Serie A clubs would be favored over a large competition, which includes the Greeks of Aris Thessaloniki and the Slovenians of Cedevita Olimpia Ljubljana. The 1997 class player will reflect for a few more days before making a final decision.
Last year Gombauld played all 30 games of the regular season with Sassari: for him 10.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in 19.7 minutes of average, in a year that started badly for the islanders but ended with a nice comeback from the last positions up to the tenth place finish, tied with the last playoff runner-up.
