Trapani, in the 2023/24 season, won promotion by dominating the Green Group of Serie A2 with 21 wins and only one loss, and then overcame in the playoffs first Piacenza in four games, then Verona in three and finally Fortitudo Bologna by three games to one.

Next season, the Granata team will join the other newly promoted team, Pallacanestro Trieste, in the Serie A championship.The Sicilians not only won the championship, but also, previously, the LNP Supercoppa, beating Treviglio in the final.
