Many have criticized Coach Kerr’s choice to keep him on the Dream Team roster. The problem? The calf injury that, in fact, prevented him from playing the entire run-up to the Olympic tournament. In fact, Durant has not played a single minute of the five friendlies played by the Dream Team before the start of Paris 2024.

The fact that he managed to dominate after not having played a real game since last April made his performance even more legendary.
"He when he comes back from an injury, you don't realize it", the words of Coach Kerr, the man who wanted him on the Dream Team at all costs. And Durant? Seraphic, as if he hasn't done anything in particular: "I've been playing basketball all my life, I just tried to do everything simple". Lucky him, he è succeeded great.
