Spezia faced Bochum in a friendly in Bressanone: D'Angelo fielded a lineup similar to the one that might play against Salernitana in the Italian Cup.
For the Eagles positive start, with a goal by Di Serio on an assist by Verde, but shortly after Bochum equalized with a powerful shot by Bernardo. Teams at rest on’1-1.
In the second half, D'Angelo kept the same starting players until the 70’ minute, but with the entry of Salvatore Esposito and Candelari, the Ligurians improved their offensive play. Esposito scored a spectacular goal on a deflected cross from Aurelio.
The match è ended 3-1 for Spezia thanks to a clumsy own goal by Sissoko seconds before the triple whistle.
