Valtur Brindisi announces with extreme satisfaction to have acquired the performance of the American athlete Bryon Allen, American guard class 1992 with great international experience during his career lived always in double digit scoring average in the top leagues of Poland, Kuwait, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Israel, Russia, China and Puerto Rico.
The player binds to the White and Blue club with an agreement valid until June 30, 2025.
A Maryland native, after completing the collegiate route at George Mason, he began his career in Europe in Poland in 2014 averaging over 19 points, 4.3 assists and 4 rebounds per game. The first approach in Italy è in Roseto in the 2016/17 season, elected best foreigner of the A2 Series and MVP All-Star Game thanks to absolute level performances with 23.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3 assists average. After experiences in clubs of European tradition such as Nymburk, Oldenburg and Karsiyaka, where he accumulated a total of 25 appearances in Basketball Champions League at over 15 points per match, he landed in Italian Serie A in 2018/19 in Brescia and Reggio. In Lombardy he also takes part in the Eurocup run concluded at 14.5 points per game; in Emilia he disputes the entire return leg at 12.5 points, 3.1 points and 2.7 assists per game, among which he stands out in the’cross against Brindisi at PalaBigi as the top scorer of the match at 20 points.
During his second Italian experience è first teammate of Tommaso Laquintana in Brescia, and then of Niccolò De Vico in Reggio, connection that he will re-establish himself in biancoazzurro at Valtur Brindisi.
During the last two sporting years, Allen starts the first part of the season in Russia at Parma Pern in 2022/23 (16.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists) and Nizhny Nivgorod in 2023/24 (14.6 points in 14 matches) to move in progress to the Chinese and Puerto Rican leagues in which he confirms himself among the most important and clutch players of the tournament.
