Jacques Villeneuve puts Lewis Hamilton’s back to the wall
Jacques Villeneuve warns Lewis Hamilton
During an interview given to the microphones of "Instantcasino.com", former driver Jacques Villeneuve was blunt about Lewis Hamilton's decision to move to Ferrari starting with the 2025 season, taking the place of Carlos Sainz, who will continue his F1 career in Williams.
"For Hamilton, Ferrari will be the ultimate challenge and if he manages to win a championship with them, he will be without a doubt the greatest of all time, of any generation. That would put him in history, these are the challenges that will be remembered forever" began the former Canadian driver.
"Ferrari for Lewis will be like a roller coaster in terms of emotions. He seems to be very emotional in his driving, in the ups and downs, and that seems to affect him a lot. He always has a little bit of an up and down mood. In this first part of the season, for example, he è seemed to me to accept the defeat against Russell, which è strange. At Silverstone, however, he regained his killer instinct and since that race he has been able to make a difference" added the 1971 class.
"Hamilton needed a change of scenery anyway. Mercedes has Russell and Kimi Antonelli is growing very well. Both sides have been waiting for an excuse to part" Jacques Villeneuve chipped in.
