Milan show: victory on penalties against Barcelona
Another excellent test of Fonseca’s Rossoneri
After beating Manchester City and Real Madrid, Milan concluded its adventure in the United States by folding, on penalties, Barcelona as well. Yet another confirmation of the excellent potential of the team of new coach Fonseca. Against the Blaugrana, Pulisic, author of a goal and an assist, particularly shone.
Amazing start of the Diavolo that, after the first 15', è already ahead by two goals. The first goal came from an excellent intuition by Pulisic with Jovic having no problem pushing the ball into the net. Five minutes elapsed and the Rossoneri's American went on his own and surprised Ter Stegen.
Barcelona does not take it and reacts vehemently. It is Lewandowski who shakes the Blaugrana. The former Bayern Munich striker shortens the gap on 22' and, in the second half, he also finds the 2-2 goal. It goes to penalty kicks where young goalkeeper Torriani becomes the hero of the friendly: two penalties parried and victory for the Devil.
In addition to Pulisic, really in splendid form, Leao's excellent approach to the match should be highlighted. In 45' of employment, the Portuguese star showed excellent things. Honorable mention to young Torriani class 2005 deployed as a starter after Sportiello's injury. He parried two penalties to show Fonseca that he can also come in handy during the long season ahead for the Rossoneri.
