Marco Legovich has no doubts about his former team

From the columns of 'Il Piccolo', Marco Legovich (current assistant coach at Varese) not only took stock of the summer work he is doing with the Lombard club, but also had his say on the upcoming Serie A season, which will see his hometown team, Pallacanestro Trieste, for whom he worked, first as an assistant and then as head coach, from 2015 to 2023, at the starting line.

"We are working with a group of Under 19 and Under 17 boys,” he told the portal of the Trieste newspaper, “someone will be part of the first team group. We decided to start a little earlier on the assumption that the next one will be an extremely balanced championship".

"Behind Milan, Bologna and Venice and just below Tortona I see a large group of teams that will be able to do well. Among them I undoubtedly put Trieste. – he added -. It's a team that has very clear designated leaders such as Ross, Brown and Brooks, two very important additions such as Uthoff and Johnson and the confirmations of Ruzzier and Reyes who represent absolute guarantees for the category".

"The Italian group, we saw it in Pistoia last season, canò be an important starting point to have a consolidated base" concluded Legovich, who will return to Trieste as an opponent at the beginning of November, on the sixth day of the Serie A championship.
