Nico Gonzalez moves closer to Juventus

Nico Gonzalez and Juventus are getting closer. The Bianconeri, in recent days, would have intensified contacts with Fiorentina to try to close the operation before the start of the championship. The Viola, for its part, would have already opened to the transfer of the player, since the replacement would have already been found, namely Albert Gudmundsson of Genoa.

According to a report by "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the Tuscan club has reportedly set the price of the Argentine's card at around 30 million euros. Dt Cristiano Giuntoli would be working to try to lower the viola's economic request through the inclusion of one of Weston McKennie, Filip Kostic and Arthur within the negotiation.

New contracts would be expected in the next few hours to try to find an agreement in principle on the formula, which in all likelihood will be a loan with a buy-back obligation. Fiorentina, testifying that the negotiations are now at an advanced stage, has decided not to summon Nico Gonzalez for the scheduled friendly against Freiburg.

Thiago Motta’s hope, in fact, would be to already be able to count on the Argentine player for the league debut match against Como. On the market, however, the priority for the Bianconeri will be to try to place the numerous redundancies in the squad, Szczesny and Chiesa above all.
