New twist regarding the condition of Gianmarco Tamberi, who è been discharged from the hospital and è managed to show up at the start of the high jump final at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

While the person concerned posted a new photo on Instagram accompanied simply by the text "There will beò", Fidal issued a statement to provide clarity. "The federal medical staff, following the examinations carried out by Gianmarco Tamberi in the early afternoon at a hospital facility in Paris, has verified that there are no absolute impediments regarding the participation of the’athlete in the Olympic final this evening", it reads.

Earlier, FIDAL President Stefano Mei had updated on the health status of the high jumper: “He is undergoing investigations and we are waiting to see how the situation evolves. The will’of the athlete è to compete, but there’s a need to make sure there is no risk”.

On social media Tamberi told that he had another kidney colic in the night, after the one a few days ago on the eve of his departure for the French capital.
