Al-Nassr humiliated, Cristiano Ronaldo takes out the coach

The humiliation suffered by Al-Nassr against Al Hilal in the Saudi Arabian Super Cup could cost Cristiano Ronaldo and teammates’ coach, Luis Castro, dearly. According to the Saudi press, the management of the Riyadh-based club is considering the Portuguese coach's dismissal, and would already be looking for his successor in Europe.

The heavy 4-1 loss suffered in Saturday’s match infuriated the fans and especially Cristiano Ronaldo, who literally went wild at the end of the game, so much so that he made controversial gestures toward the bench and his teammates.

Castro, who against rivals Al-Hilal won just one game out of six, could thus lose his job a few days before the start of the Saudi championship, scheduled for next Thursday.

Ronaldo and his teammates last season finished second, 14 points behind champion Al-Hilal'Al-Hilal. CR7 in particular since è in Saudi Arabia has yet to win a national trophy.
