MotoGp Austria: masterpiece win by Pecco Bagnaia. Super comeback by Marc Marquez
.
Great show of strength by Pecco Bagnaia at the Red Bull Ring: the reigning world champion won the MotoGP Grand Prix d'Austria at the Spielberg track at the end of a fine duel with Jorge Martin, who was beaten by a fury of record laps. For Ducati’s Piedmontese centaur è the completion of a dream one-two in Austria, which allows him to return to the lead alone in the World Championship standings.
On the podium with him a never tame Martin, but unable to maintain the pace of the two-time world champion, then the'other official Ducati of Enea Bastianini. Fourth place for Ducati Gresini team rider Marc Marquez, penalized at the start by a contact with Franco Morbidelli that put him in the rear. After a furious comeback, Marquez è managed to get back among the firsts but the gap to the top three was too high.
After the four Ducatis there'è the KTM of Brad Binder, then the Ducati VR6 of Marco Bezzecchi. Franco Morbidelli of the Pramac team è eighth, between the two Aprilias of Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargarò, in seventh and ninth place, respectively. Alex Marquez finished in 10th place.
