Cristiano Ronaldo wants an increasingly competitive Al Nassr and after the sound defeat in the Saudi Arabian Super Cup final he has asked the club for new reinforcements. According to German sources, CR7 has suggested to the management the signing of Ilkay Gundogan.
The German midfielder è closed to Barcelona and, despite Hansi Flick’s reassurances ("I have the impression he will stay with us"), in Spain they are sure he will leave the Catalan club.
English sources claim that Gundogan has telephoned Pep Guardiola to sound out the ground about a resounding about-face: the German star left Manchester City only last year after a long, trophy-filled experience.
