Anna Kalinskaya remains motionless
WTA ranking unchanged for Anna Kalinskaya, who remains in 15th place in the rankings after the last week of competition. The Russian tennis player, fiancée of Jannik Sinner, è back from a loss in the round of 16 against Paula Badosa in Cincinnati, and failed to improve or consolidate her best ranking, which still sees her at the highest point of her eight years on the circuit.
Leading the way is Poland's Iga Swiatek, followed by Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, who è returned to second at the expense of Coco Gauff after her stunning victory in Cincinnati. After Gauff, who was third, there's Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina and our Jasmine Paolini, who confirmed her fifth place in the WTA rankings.
Also in the Top 10 were Jessica Pegula, Qinwen Zheng, Barbora Krejcikova, Maria Sakkari and Jelena Ostapenko.
Among the Italians, besides Paolini there'è no Azzurra in the Top 50. Elisabetta Cocciaretto è 64th, Lucia Bronzetti è 69th and Martina Trevisan è 91st. Also in the top 100 is Sara Errani, 94th. Nice jump of 15 positions for Lucrezia Stefanini, who climbed to place number 164.
