Barcelona presses for Rafa Leao, Milan raises the wall
Acc Milan armors Rafael Leao
After failing in its assault on Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, Barcelona has turned decisively on AC Milan’s Rafael Leao to reinforce its attacking department. The bluagrana club, in fact, has reportedly presented the Rossoneri with a 60-million-euro offer plus the signatures of one among Christensen, Ferran Torres, Inigo Martinez and Alejandro Balde.
According to reports from "Mundo Deportivo", AC Milan has reportedly sent back the Spaniards'offer and taken the player off the market, as the meneghini would not be willing to deprive themselves of their best player with less than ten days to go before the close of the soccer market.
Rafael Leao will remain at Milan at least for this season and a possible sale of him will be considered starting from the next summer session, when the 175 million euro rescission clause will be reactivated.
As far as Barcelona is concerned, on the other hand, a raise would be expected in the coming days to try to change Milan’s mind, but at the same time the Blaugrana club would also be in talks with Juventus for Federico Chiesa, who will most likely leave the Bianconeri in these last days of the market.
