Inter and Palacios are very close

L'inter è to the final squeeze for defense reinforcement. According to reports from "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the Nerazzurri have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Talleres for the outright transfer of Tomas Palacios for a total sum of around 6.5 million euros, with no percentage on resale.

The Argentine club, however, before closing the deal with the meneghini, would be working to find an agreement with Indipendente, a club for which the class of 2003 played on loan during the last season. Contacts between the two South American clubs are said to be already at an advanced stage and the agreement is expected to arrive in the coming days.

Inter's intention would be to arrange the intercontinental flight for Tomas Palacios already at the beginning of next week, so as to allow the player to undergo the ritual medical examinations, sign the new contract and make himself available to coach Simone Inzaghi.

Once the deal for the Argentine has been finalized, the meneghini will get back to work to try to thin out the squad in the final days of the soccer market.
