Formula 1 on a new continent: Stefano Domenicali speaks out on the'hypothesis

During an interview given to the microphones of "Sky Sport F1", the CEO of Formula 1 Stefano Domenicali, among the various topics covered, has è expressed himself bluntly about the possibility of organizing a Gp in Africa.

"It's a project we are working on and developing. To date on the African continent, Rwanda è the country that is showing the most interest, also from the point of view of the feasibility of projects that are being presented to us" began the F1 CEO.

"At the sports level there have been in the last FIFA conventions of sports activities that are still ongoing. This year there will be the International Federation awards ceremony. Without having to anticipate things too much, they are certainly working hard to define a good project from a sports and infrastructure point of view. It's a country that wants to look ahead and wants through F1 to invest in the future. We are working on it and in the coming weeks we should have further meetings" added the Imola native.

"We are preparing for a Monza GP that has to meet expectations, which are very high. All the entities in charge have done a great job to allow the Gp to have the first step of the things that need to be done to make the Autodromo one of the most modern facilities level. We è started from the track, now we mustà work to enjoy to all fans the facilities worthy of a circuit like Monza" commented Stefano Domenicali.
