FP3 Gp Netherlands: Pierre Gasly the fastest in the rain

FP3 of the Zandvoort Gp closes in the sign of Pierre Gasly. The Alpine driver set the fastest time of 1:20.311 in a session heavily marked by rain and the violent accident involving Logan Sargeant that resulted in a red flag in the closing stages of practice.

Behind the Frenchman came Kevin Magnussen in the Haas and Valtteri Bottas in the Kick Sauber. Completing the top five were Lando Norris and Fernando Alonso. Closing in seventh place was the other McLaren of Oscar Piastri.

Complicated session, however, for Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull. As for the Maranello drivers, they did not go beyond 10th place with Carlos Sainz and 16th with Charles Leclerc. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton finished with 13th and 15th times. 18th and 20th places, finally, for Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, who did not have much chance to try the race pace simulation.
