Lecce changes face: two reinforcements coming in for Luca Gotti

Two new faces coming in after a decidedly bumpy start to the season.

Calciomercato Lecce: Luca Gotti is preparing to embrace two new players, with the Giallorossi club intent on reinforcing the team after the defeats suffered in the first two days of Serie A against Atalanta and Inter. If in fact Valentin Gendrey will leave Salento to move to the Bundesliga, to Hoffenheim, Gaby Jean and Frederic Guilbert are on the way.

The first è a defender already arrived in the city, as confirmed by the club in a note: "French defender class 2000, Gaby Jean è just landed in Salento and is on his way to Lecce to undergo the ritual medical examinations". The player comes from dall'Annecy, a club that plays in Ligue 2.

Far more experienced Guilbert, a right side of defense who è was born in 1994 and has experience in both Ligue 1 (Bordeaux, Caen and Strasbourg) and the Premier League with Aston Villa. He è is also expected from Lecce to undergo medical examinations and then sign his new contract. That, in fact, will make him the heir in Giallorossi to Gendrey.

The latter was in fact greeted by Gotti himself already in the aftermath of the San Siro match against Inter: "Probably Gendrey è on his last game with Lecce, so I am told. This should be pointed out, sometimes players behave selfishly but it is not è his case. He gave us total availability, è he was generous and put team spirit ahead of everything", the Giallorossi coach had said.
