Parma closes the deal from Sampdoria

After a sparkling start to the championship (a draw with Fiorentina and a win over AC Milan), Parma is not stopping in the market either. The Croatian club, in fact, has closed a prospect swoop from Sampdoria, overcoming competition from Inter. It is Giovanni Leoni, a defender born in 2006, also followed with great interest by the Nerazzurri.

According to a report from Fantacalcio.it, the two clubs have concluded negotiations for the transfer to Gialloblù of the young Italian defender for a sum of 5 million euros plus 3.5 bonuses. Leoni will carry out medical examinations with the Ducali on Tuesday and then sign a three-year contract.

Leoni, who arrived at Samp on loan with the right of redemption, then exercised, from Padova in the winter market session, has collected 12 appearances in Serie B with the shirt of the Ligurian club, scoring one goal.
