MotoGp, Ducati: Pecco Bagnaia has clear ideas
Pecco Bagnaia doesn’t want dips
Just back from the double victory in Austria that returned him to the top of the rainbow standings, Pecco Bagnaia è ready to return to the post at Motorland Aragon, for the Grand Prix d'Aragon that returns to the calendar two years after the previous edition. The reigning world champion has clear ideas on the approach to take this weekend.
"I am very proud of the work done in the last few races,” he said, “but the season è still very long and we have to keep our feet on the ground. Aragon è a track I like and I am happy to be racing here again: at Motorland I won my first race in MotoGp and in the last editions I have always been competitive".
"In any case, we must stay focused and continue to work keeping the same direction taken in the last Grand Prix" then concluded Bagnaia, who in the 2022 edition of the Gp d'Aragon ended in second place, behind the winner Enea Bastianini, today his teammate.
Bagnaia has collected 275 championship points so far, five more than his main rival, Spaniard Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac). Third in the standings è Bastianini at 214, Followed by Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini) at 192. The first non-Ducatista in the standings è Maverick Viñales (Aprilia), fifth with 139 points to his credit.
