Juventus: countdown for last striker, Giuntoli accelerates
Finale with fireworks for Juventus market. After the arrivals in recent days of Nico Gonzalez, Francisco Conceiçao and Teun Koopmeiners, the Bianconeri are still on the hunt for another external striker: Cristiano Giuntoli and Bianconeri executives are accelerating in these hours to find the deal for Jadon Sancho, ahead of the end of the summer soccer market session.
The English striker is outgoing from Manchester United and is looking forward to a move to Turin: contacts between the two clubs are continuous but the Red Devils are still not convinced by Giuntoli’s proposal, i.e., the proposal of a loan without a buy-back obligation. In addition, the English will have to participate in paying a large part of the player's salary (20 million euros), which is totally out of reach for the Bianconeri.
United is expecting raises from Juve in order to give the green light to Jadon Sancho’s transfer to Turin, but in the meantime it is looking at possible other offers, with PSG and Chelsea that could move in extremis and make more advantageous proposals.
On the outgoing side, Juventus has just sold Federico Chiesa to Liverpool, and plans the departure of Arthur and Kostic before closing the market.
