GP d'Italia, Kimi Antonelli apologizes for the accident in Monza
These are the words of Kimi Antonelli in a video message after his accident in the first free practice session of the Grand Prix d'Italia in Monza.
"&It was quite an intense day. I did my first FP1 and unfortunately it ended pretty quickly. I pushed too hard for the conditions that were there, I should have pushed progressively instead I pushed so hard right away and crashed”.
"È it was quite a big impact – added the Mercedes driver, who returned to the hotel without speaking to the media -, around 52G lateral, at the moment I do not feel great.
“However, I thank Mercedes for the chance it gave me, and I apologize to the whole team and to George especially for the accident. Forò now however we try to focus on'F2 and have a good weekend".
