Alexander Zverev issues a warning to Jannik Sinner

Unlike Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev is fulfilling the predictions and è has become Jannik Sinner’s most fearsome rival for this final 2024, starting right at the Us Open. The German tennis player has è qualified to the quarterfinals after his victory over host Brandon Nakashima, and he feels more confident than ever.

Zverev, who è has now become the only tennis player still capable of challenging Jannik Sinner for the number one spot ahead of the end of the year, wants to win the first Slam of his career.

The German thinks he is owed a lot of credit after all he has been through in the past two years. "The 2022 injury did not help me. At that stage I was very close to becoming world No. 1, but then I could not play for 7 months".

The German tennis player has since è risen again and now è more motivated than ever: "I still want to achieve some of my dreams, some of my goals".

Sinner è warned: "I’m very happy with the level of tennis I’m playing, especially heading into the final tournament. I am happy with where I am, especially after the injury". Zverev will only be able to face Azzurro in the final: now in the quarters his rival will be Taylor Fritz.
