Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray: what is missing before the transfer

Some more knots to be untied before defining the operation.

Calciomercato Napoli: Victor Osimhen è set to move to Galatasaray, but there are still some final details to be worked out before proceeding with a deal that seems likely to satisfy all parties involved. These are bureaucratic issues, the last remaining hurdle before the Nigerian striker leaves for Turkey.

Napoli will deprive itself of Osimhen, who has been completely excluded from Antonio Conte’s technical plans, but will continue to own his tag. The center forward will in fact move to Galatasaray on a dry loan, with the Istanbul club that will "limità" pay his rich salary. The Nigerian will extend the contract of its gunner of the recent Scudetto, which will expire in 2027 with the possibility of selling him outright in the coming years.

Before landing at Galatasaray, però, Osimhen must wait for Napoli to define the terms of the January rescission clause. A delicate matter, but one that should not jeopardize a transfer that would be good for both the player and the two clubs involved.
