Beppe Marotta at work: you have to place the redundancy

Although the market window has been closed for days, Beppe Marotta è still at work. The experienced executive's mission is to place Joaquín Correa in order to avoid losing him for free next summer.

Settling the Argentine però not è easy: it seemed all done with Panathinaikos but, when by then the deal was on the home stretch, è everything blew up and Correa è remained in Milan. Simone Inzaghi is not counting on him and has even excluded him from the list for the Champions League: the former Lazio player's future is far from Italy.

The most concrete hypothesis at the moment è Turkey, where the market will close on September 13.

Simone Inzaghi and Joaquín Correa had a very good relationship at Lazio and the coach strongly wanted to bring him to Milan in 2021. To please him, Inter shelled out more than 30 million euros (between loan and redemption) to convince Claudio Lotito to sell him. Correa's experience at Inter was never exciting: overall in the Nerazzurri jersey he collected 77 games and 10 goals.
