Rome on alert for Artem Dovbyk
Alarm at Roma for Artem Dovbyk’s condition: news has reached Trigoria that the Ukrainian striker is returning from his national team’s training camp after suffering a physical problem that will be evaluated in the coming hours by the Giallorossi club. Dovbyk will miss Ukraine’s two Nations League matches against Albania and the Czech Republic: the player reportedly suffered a muscle problem in the adductor after the Turin match against Juventus, reports calciomercato.com.
The player hopes to recover in time for the next league away match against Genoa, scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 15, at 12:30 p.m.
This is the note from Ukraine: "Striker Artem Dovbyk will not be able to play with the Ukrainian national team in the September 2024/2025 Nations League matches against Albania (Sept. 7) and the Czech Republic (Sept. 10). The injury, which the striker got while playing with Roma, has not allowed him to work fully with the group".
"Further examination in Prague confirmed that it will take more time to fully recover from the injury. Therefore, è it was decided that Dovbyk will return to the clubhouse, where he will continue to work under the supervision of local doctors".
