Igli Tare reveals a market backstory on Strahinja Pavlovic
During an interview given to the microphones of "Milan News", former Lazio Ds Igli Tare, among the various topics discussed, spoke bluntly about Strahinja Pavlovic's impact in the Rossoneri. In addition, the former Biancocelesti executive also revealed a market backstory regarding the Serbian defender.
"He was more or less the same player as è now. He has made an important career and in the meantime between Munich and Salzburg he has played many games in the Champions League, won trophies and è arrived in Milan at the best age to express himself. I think he still has a lot to improve in the soccer that counts, but he has what it takes to become one of the best" began the former Lazio DS.
"At the level of scouting, in 2019-2020, we had noticed that he was a young man with great prospects and we sensed that a player like thatì, in Italian soccer could grow a lot and become a player of the highest level. The contracts were already done and everything was ready for his arrival at Lazio. In the end the negotiation è jumped and to be honest I don’t like to go back on the matter becauseè the more I think about it the more I regret. However, I am happy with his path and that he managed to make it to Serie A" added the former manager of the biancocelesti.
"The problem in soccer è that after 3-4 games you don't have time to make an analysis. He has shown that he deserves to wear the Milan jersey. From here on he must try to improve further, becauseé playing in Milan means playing to win" concluded Igli Tare.
