Sprint Misano, Jorge Martin surprised by his own start

Here are the words of Ducati Pramac Spaniard and world championship leader Jorge Martin after his triumph in the sprint race of the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix at the Misano Adriatico circuit dedicated to Marco Simoncelli.

"I’m finally back to victory, I’m so happy! We did a good job, in practice we suffered a little bit but we sought perfection and è it was difficult. Today I expected maybe to fight with Pecco, però I did not expect to start like this. From that moment on I said to myself: ‘We have 13 laps to go, è like in qualifying’".

"I pushed so hard trying not to make mistakes and keep my concentration. At the end I saw that I had a lead to keep in the last laps and I am overjoyed. Tomorrow will be a different story, but I feel confident. The road è the right one, we are going super fast and thanks to all the Italian fans becauseé they are fantastic".
