Andrea Dovizioso on Sky’s microphones warned everyone about the strength of Marc Marquez, who has won the last two races of the MotoGp World Championship and looks increasingly comfortable on the Ducati. Next season the Catalan will be in the official Ducati team alongside Pecco Bagnaia and Dovizioso, his longtime rival, understood what the number 93 is aiming for.
"Is he back the Marc Marquez of yesteryear? I don't know. Seeing an overpower like thatì in Aragon made an impression. In my opinion he realized that this year he could not play for the championship and he is using it as preparation for next year, as an approach from the first round, to qualifying, to the race".
According to Dovizioso, Marquez is not è yet in top form: "He is not yet at his best, not è 100 percent. He is getting the maximum experience he can è do in a team and brand that is completely different from what he knows. It takes a long time to get to the ideal feeling".
For Dovizioso, Marquez is therefore not forcing his way back into the race for the World Championship, but is taking his time and calmly reasoning ahead of next season's assault: "Martin and Bagnaia are exploiting the bike in an incredible way and being able to fit in è tough. Besides the speed and the bike they have, they have a situation more under control than Marquez. In my opinion he knows that and I think he is taking it moreù calmly, unlike his whole career".
