Jannik Sinner: homecoming opens with a surprise
A nice surprise after recent labors.
Jannik Sinner after the U.S. Open returns home, and immediately he is in for a wonderful surprise. The South Tyrolean, current No. 1 in the ATP world ranking which he has obviously confirmed after his Flushing Meadows feat, è returned to Brunico and will spend a few days of absolute rest in Sesto Pusteria. His South Tyrol's welcome, however, has given something unexpected.
As Sinner himself wanted to document on Instagram, his afternoon in Bruneck experienced among the most significant stops an unplanned visit to a local soccer school. Great enthusiasm for the children, who interrupted their training by chatting at length with the champion and celebrating his unexpected presence among them.
Coming off a very busy period, both on and off the field, Jannik Sinner needs to recharge his batteries, and he will do so in the places where he è was born and raised, where he canò live his daily life in a simple and peaceful way. Many more challenges await him, including the ATP Finals and more.
Indeed, having concluded his short rest period, he will be preparing for his next official engagement, namely the Beijing ATP 500, scheduled from September 26. A tournament he won last year and which, therefore, he must honor to the best of his ability. Clearly, his (and all Italians’) hope is that Italy will qualify for the November Davis Cup finals. Lì Sinner will be there 100 percent.
