Mikel Arteta has signed a new three-year contract with Arsenal and ended all uncertainty about his future. According to Bbc reports, the 42-year-old coach will sign until 2027, while the Spaniard’s new contract is expected to be announced before Sunday’s London derby against Tottenham.
Arsenal confirmed on its social media that coach Mikel Arteta has signed "a new long-term contract".
The new deadline is not specified, but the 'English media' are unanimous in reporting that it would be June 30, 2027.
In its statement, Arsenal stresses that Arteta (who of the 'Gunners' è was also a player and captain), "è has been a key figure in re-establishing us as a force at the top of English and European football".
