More problems for Neymar: return to the field moves away
The 32-year-old former Barcelona and PSG è off the Champions list
Neymar è disappeared from the radar for quite some time now. The Brazilian, who was injured last Oct. 17 during the match between Brazil and Uruguay, has not yet recovered enough physical condition to take the field. Al-Hilal, in fact, excluded her from the list of players who will participate in the upcoming Asian Champions League.
It was a blow for the 32-year-old Brazilian, who had hoped to recover in time. In reality, to fully recover from the surgery he underwent last year (ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus), he will still need at least two months.
Having arrived at Al-Hilal in August 2023 (invested a record 90 million euros), the Brazilian has played only five games with the Arab club, which, in fact, has never been able to count on his talent. It seems likely that, to see him in action at his best, we will have to wait until January.
A really delicate moment in the career of Neymar who, after failing to make a return to Barcelona, was hoping to make his mark with the Al-Hilal shirt in Saudi Arabia. Until now, he has not had the chance to prove his worth and this is also weighing heavily on the ratings against him.
