Back problems continue for Tiger Woods. The 15-time Major champion, through a message posted on his Instagram profile, revealed that he has undergone surgery due to an injury in his lower back.
"Tiger Woods è underwent microdecompression surgery of the lumbar spine for a nerve conflict in his lower back. Dr. Sheeraz Qureshi of the West Palm Beach Special Interventions Hospital performed the operation and deemed it successful" this is the note issued on the U.S. golfer’s profile.
“The’surgeryè went well, and I hope this will alleviate the back spasms and pains I experienced throughout much of the 2024 season. I look forward to rehabilitation and getting ready for the normal activities of life, including golf“ these, instead, were the statements of the 15-time Major champion after the operation.
This season Tiger Woods has played only five tournaments: the four Majors and the Genesis Invitational. For the American golfer, in addition, this is the sixth surgery to try to solve his back problems.
