A decent Olimpia but there's still a lot to do. The challenge, valid for the first semifinal of the Crete International Tournament, saw AX Milano lose to Fenerbahce of former Melli and Hall. The Turks, thanks to a super Baldwin, ran away in the final, closing 81-76.

The red-and-whites played a good game. In particular, new point guard Dimitrijevic, who scored an impressive 14 points and excellent "directing" shined. Equal role Bolmaro also showed some of his enormous potential (13 points). Highs and lows for LeDay while, the most in trouble, è seemed Mirotic.

The former Barcelona man, who scored only four points, did not convince, especially from a physical standpoint. The red and white ace still seems far from the best physical condition. All quite normal at this time of the season. However, the AX needs the real Mirotic.

With the Crete International Tournament over (in the other semifinal, Virtus Bologna beaten by Olympiacos), Olimpia Milano will start revving up the engine even more ahead of its official debut. The Italian Supercoppa semifinal against Reyer Venezia is scheduled for Sept. 21 in Bologna. Coach Messina aims to get there with all his players in more than fair condition, including Mirotic.
