PSV, Peter Bosz issues challenge to Juventus

These are the statements of PSV Eindhoven coach Peter Bosz ahead of the Champions League opener away at the Allianz Stadium against Juventus by Thiago Motta.

"Champions è always beautiful, you're among the élite of Europe. New format or old format matters little. With Juve it will be tough, it is up to us to show that we are well prepared. The pace will be higher than in the league, we will need more stamina and we have been training hard. Matches are always nice to watch, if the Bianconeri play offensive soccer it will be a spectacular evening" began the Dutch coach.

"In my opinion we are strong, we have good players and I also saw last year that we made the evening difficult for all our opponents in Europe. Whoever will beà stronger in imposing their style of play will haveà more chances to win. Possession will be important, we will have to not lose the ball, especially in our own half of the field, and be effective in transition,” continued the former Borussia Dortmund coach.

" The boys will gain experience quickly. There'é always a first time, however è nice to have this first experience against a great team like Juventus. As a staff we have an extra year of experience and hopefully we have improved. The Bianconeri have a more difficult league than ours and è a factor that certainly affects their current performance" concluded Peter Bosz.
