Numia Vero Volleyball Milan, kicks off with Courmayeur Cup

A few days after the official presentation in which è the new name of the team was unveiled, the Numia Vero Volley Milan è is ready to take the field in the first competition of the calendar, the Courmayeur Cup, a tournament organized by the Women’s Volleyball League Serie A in collaboration with Master Group Sport, and which sees opposing just the first four ranked teams of last season (Conegliano, Milan, Scandicci and Novara).
The semifinal pairings follow those of the last Playoff Semifinals; at the Courmayeur Sport Center, Friday, Sept. 20 at 5 pm:30 (live on DAZN, which will broadcast live streaming of all four confrontations of the two-day event) Coach Lavarini’s girls will face the Tuscan team of Savino del Bene Scandicci, with the goal of gaining access to the final for the 1°-2° place, scheduled for Saturday, September 21 at 20:30. The’other semifinal will instead see the reigning Italian champions Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano and the team of Igor Gorgonzola Novara opposing each other.
A remake of the past Scudetto semifinal, then, for the Consortium’s first women’s team, which comes to Courmayeur after the 3-0 victory obtained in last week’s test match against Novara.
On Friday, Sept. 20 at 11:30 a.m., the 80th edition of the Tigotà Serie A championship will also be presented, officially kicking off this two-day competition.
Expectations are high for this event, an appetizer for the 2024-25 season of the Tigotà Series A, and one that promises to be global. Wide will be in fact the modality of fruition for those who will not be able to be present in Courmayeur: in Italy, Rai Sport will air both matches of 20.30 Friday and Saturday on channel 58 of the digital terrestrial, while DAZN will cover all the challenges. Abroad, on the other hand, it will be VBTV the reference platform for the four challenges, with two commentary options, English and Portuguese, for all fans scattered around the world.
