F1, GP Singapore: Lando Norris ahead of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in second free practice
Lando Norris ends the first day of free practice for the Singapore Grand Prix in the lead. At Marina Bay, the McLaren driver mocked Charles Leclerc, the fastest driver in the first session, by 58 thousandths, turning in 1'30"727. Closing out the podium was another Ferrari, that of Carlos Sainz, six tenths away.
Racing Bulls did well with Yuki Tsunoda in fourth and Daniel Ricciardo in sixth. Between them the other McLaren of Oscar Piastri, fifth. In seventh place was the Mercedes of George Russell, who ran into the wall in the finale, ahead of the Red Bull of Sergio Perez, eighth, and the Williams of Alexander Albon, ninth. Nico Hulkenberg’s Haas closes the top 10.
Distant Lewis Hamilton, only 11th with the other Mercedes, and Max Verstappen, even 15th with the other Red Bull.
