Enea Bastianini-Jorge Martin: the thoughts of Davide Tardozzi

Speaking at the microphones of Spanish newspaper "AS", Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi, among other topics, bluntly analyzed the borderline battle between Enea Bastianini and Jorge Martin in the final laps of the Misano Adriatico GP.

"I think both riders went long. Martin è came too fast and then tried to close the door, but he was already out of line as well. For me, both of them went too far. Obviously Jorge è was aggressive in defense and they touched each other, but in that braking both riders went over the limit, touched each other and risked falling" began the Ducati team manager.

"I told Pecco that I am angry about the incident, but that we will talk about it in the coming days, when we will all be more calm and serene. I told him that he had the speed, that he è our champion, we have no doubt that he will play the World Championship until the end and that we will talk when we have seen the data" added the Ravenna native.

"With a champion who is certain to be a champion, there are no problems. We have no intention of doing favorable treatment, if Martin will win the title we will be the first on the podium to applaud him" commented Davide Tardozzi about the rainbow fight between the centaur of Prima Pramac and Pecco Bagnaia.
